Here are a few pages from a work in progress. This part is called: “Tennessee Legend III.”
It's about my good buddy down in Tennessee, and how I've always wanted to be there! Not because of politics, but in spite of it. Because it's people that matter the most! (I don't care what t-shirt or hat you wear, it's who you are that counts)!
And because of what I soaked up a long time ago, when I was a teenager in Florida, listenin' to the radio and just starting to pick up the guitar.
It's a conversation with the heart of our country. And somehow, it took me 900 pages to say it: “Hey, I love you guys!” Don't forget that.
